Update: Sports Industry v. Social Networking
I wrote in an earlier post about the growing clash between social networking and traditional businesses, but here’s an update that talks more about the clash between social networking and the sports industry. I’ll leave it up to you to decide if the efforts by ESPN, the NFL, etc are wise or not, but I’m a firm believer that the harder they try to squeeze this phenomena, the more it’s going to get away from them.
